Thomas Scott Matuska

Thomas "T" Scott Matuska 27 of Arvada, CO passed away February 5th, 2016.
He was born on June 27th 1988 in Twentynine Palms, CA.
Thomas was a graduate of Pomona high school class of 2006. Thomas excelled in soccer and was on the Varsity soccer team for 3 years.
Thomas' love for soccer started at age 3. He played competitively throughout the state on many teams. Thomas managed and coached on his adult teams. His passion for the sport was expressed though his coaching and mentoring of youth players at Edge Soccer club. Thomas loved the outdoors and was a sports fanatic. Thomas would watch or play any type of sport Football, Basketball, Baseball and of course Soccer to include international sports such as Rugby, Cricket and even Curling. Not only could he kick a soccer ball with deadly accuracy; he was able to kick a field goal from 50+ yards barefooted.
But, these were not his only strength nor best, it was his love, loyalty and dedication to his friends. He would at a drop of a hat stop and go without hesitation to a friend's need and do what was needed to help.

Grandparents: Ken Matuska (Frankie)
Marlyn and Katy Johnson
Thomas is preceded in death by
Uncle Andy Johnson
Thomas was a well-loved, loyal friend, brother and son that will be greatly missed.
After the service, there will be a memorial soccer game. Bring your game bag and jersey. Please dress informal for services and do not wear high heels. Food will be provided after the events.
