Timothy Mark Dinius, 65, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, November 6, 2020.
He was born to Donald Max and Joy Ellen Dinius, April 22, 1955, in South Bend, Indiana. Tim graduated from St. Joseph High School (Michigan) in 1973, and received a BS in Electronic Engineering from Southern Colorado University (Pueblo) in 1986. He served 3 years in the U.S. Army between 1976 and 1979. Tim married Deborah Wilson in 1994, and they lived together in Aurora, CO since that time.
Tim used his degree to work in the telecommunication and mailing industries. Over his lifetime, he worked for Tosi's, United Parcel Service, Rolm, Bell & Howell, TIAA-CREF, and Aurora Water. He worked at Hawk Missile Systems while in the Army. Tim was an avid fisherman and loved walking his Samoyeds. He got to know the neighborhood while walking the dogs and is known for teasing the neighbors.
Tim is survived by his wife, Debby, his parents Max and Joy, and his brother Dennis. All are currently located within the Denver metropolitan area.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting the donations to be made out to the Wounded Warriors Project. Tim was proud of his military service and always remembered to bless the troops during grace and prayers.
A memorial service will be held at New Hope Community Church at 17699 E. Hampden Avenue, Aurora, CO 80013, on November 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Attendance is limited to 35 people due to COVID restrictions. Tim's ashes will be scattered at his favorite fishing spot after the pandemic ends. A plaque will be placed at Ft. Logan National Cemetery honoring Tim's service to his country.
