Timothy Scott Zanetell of Aurora, Colorado passed away in his home on the 30 of September 2012 after his long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his wife, daughter, and numerous loved ones.
Tim was born to parents Betty Higdon Zanetell and Henry (Zeke) Zanetell on 16 September 1962 in Pueblo, Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife Debra K. Zanetell; loving daughter Kerry A. Zanetell Walter, son-n-law Josh Walter, grandson Zachary S. Walter (Goose); brothers Jerry Zanetell and Tom Zanetell.
Tim retired from GE Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO in April 2011 after 25 years of dedicated service.
Tim's loves in his life were his wife of 33 years, his loving daughter, and his very special grandson, Goose. In addition, Tim had a strong love for Drag Racing and the many dear friends and families associated with this wonderful sport. You also cannot forget the times going fishing, camping, or just watching the rain at Pueblo Reservoir with his family, and lastly the love and beauty of flowers in his gardens.
Tim was a very special son, companion, father, Poppy, brother, and friend, who lit the room with his warm heart and will be greatly missed by all.
Services at 11:00am, October 4, 2012 at East Alameda Church of Christ, 13605 East Alameda Ave, Aurora, CO 80012 with internment to follow at Olinger Chapel Hills Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd, Littleton, CO. A reception will be held at the Church of Christ Hall.
Casual Dress and Jeans & T-Shirts -- per Tim are acceptable!
