Tony Castillo

Tony Castillo, 61, of Aurora, passed away April 16, 2016.

He was born February 22, 1955 in Vienna, Austria, the son of Cass and Trudy (Groeger) Castillo. He was a graduate of Hinkley High School. He attended Metro State College. On June 9, 1984 he married Nita Adkins, of Pueblo, Colorado. He was a Master Mason at Revelation Lodge #180.

Tony is survived by his wife, Nita Castillo; children, Jessica and Benjamin Castillo; and mother, Trudy Castillo. He is preceded in death by his father, Trinidad "Cass" Castillo.
Tony was very talented with his hands. He was a gifted guitarist, carpenter, and engineer. Tony played guitar in many bands as he grew up, and continued to rock as he got older. He discovered a love for electronics at a young age, and continued to enjoy working on projects with his son. Tony was passionate about spending time with Jess and Ben in all their activities. He was a loving husband and Nita was the light of his life. He was famous for his "Tony hugs". He enjoyed working and playing together with his family, friends, and loved ones. And man, could he grill some good ribs.
