88, of Denver, Colorado. Passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Denver, Colorado. He was born to parents Silverio and Rufina Chavez May 10, 1924 in Mace, New Mexico. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Priscilla Anna Chavez; children Domicilia (Louie) Gallegos, Vera (Joe) Chavez, Maxine Hlewko, Danny (Sylvia) Chavez and Cathy (Steve) Lucero; 8 grandchildren Louie Gallegos, Rena Martinez, DeAnna Gallegos, Jesse Gonzales, Christina Olguin, Leah Hlewko, Kamrey Lucero and Jordan Lucero; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and sister Veronica Chavez. Preceded in death by his loving son Jose E. Chavez.
Tony enjoyed his time with his family, playing cards, going to the Casinos in Central City, CO and gardening. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.
