Troy Anthony Aragon, 50 of Denver, a loving son, dad, brother, nephew and friend passed away on January 17, 2026 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Thornton, CO. at Valley View Hospital on February 25, 1975. Troy is survived by daughters Kayla Medina and Nevaeh Castaneda, parents Grace and Rudy Aragon and brother Ken, nieces Miriah and Destiny Aragon, very special friend Lori Medina, and close family friends Sister Pat Hayden, and the Aguilar family. Aunts: Dolores (James) Griego, Isabel (Frank) Lucero of Denver, Dolores (Pat) Gonzales of Pueblo. Uncles: Leonard (Raquel) Lovato of Trinidad, Paul (Theresa) Aragon, Jerry Aragon, Sonny (Dixie) Aragon of Denver, and many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Barbara and Erminio Lovato, Felipe and Margaret Aragon, and uncles, LeRoy and Freddy Aragon and aunt Liz Ramirez.
Troy attended North High School and was active in Tennis and baseball. Upon graduation he received a tennis scholarship to Metropolitan State College. He loved astrology and looking at the stars. He was an avid wrestling fan. He was also very interested in Big Foot and wanted to visit places where Big Foot was sited. He loved watching the Denver Broncos with his mom. His favorite player was Courtland Sutton #14. Troy also loved to cook and received training to become a chef. He worked with Chef Cole at All Love Catering but was unable to continue training due to his illness. Troy will be missed by everyone who loved him!
