Truitt James Armijo

Truitt James Armijo was joyfully welcomed into the world on October 11, 1978 by his proud parents John & Deborah Armijo. He grew up in Colorado surrounded by love – playing, laughing and getting into mischief with his siblings Lucas Armijo and Kristina Armijo. He attended school in Aurora, Colorado and graduated from Rangeview High School in 1998. He attended Colorado State University and Metropolitan State, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in accounting. Truitt's favorite pastimes of yesteryear included skiing, golfing, fishing, and elk hunting. Truitt married Carly Jane Theiler on March 3, 2007. Truitt's biggest dream was fulfilled when the couple welcomed three beautiful baby girls into the world – Paige Jane, Molly James, and Evann Hope. Truitt absolutely adored his children and spent every day of their childhood with them. Truitt was a devoted father who never passed up a moment to play, teach, snuggle or tell his girls that he loved them. After a fearless and faith filled battle with brain cancer, Truitt James Armijo passed away on February 15, 2013, at age 34, after his girls said their goodbyes and kissed his sweet face. He was in his home in Aurora, CO, surrounded by family and friends. Truitt lived life without doubt, fear or anger. He spoke two words countless times, "No worries."

Truitt is survived by his wife, Carly Armijo and his children Paige Armijo, 5 years old, Molly Armijo, 3 years old, and Evann Armijo, 3 years old, all of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by his parents John and Deborah Armijo of Aurora, CO; sister, Kristina Armijo of Aurora, CO; brother Lucas Armijo and sister in law, Meagan Armijo of Alameda, CA; grandmother Rosanna Flowers of Pueblo, CO; grandfather James Armijo and his wife, Camilla, of Trinidad, CO; father and mother in law, Chuck and Rhonda Theiler of Ogallala, NE; sister in law Lacey Theiler of Aurora, CO; brother in law Brett Theiler and his wife Emily Theiler of Ogallala, NE; special friend Jeremy Keller of Parker, CO; special friend Nate Millers of Broomfield, CO; special friend Aaron Rieland of Avon, MN.

Truitt's memorial service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2:00 at The Rock in Castle Rock, CO.
