Twyla Grace Harrington, 90, of Denver passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015.
She was born to the late Pearl and Emma Cornick in Marsh, Iowa, May 3, 1924. She had nine siblings. Twyla married the late Walter Harrington in 1942 and relocated to Denver in 1952. Walter died January 6, 1988.
Twyla worked as the Regional Traffic Manager at Montgomery Wards on South Broadway until its closing in 1985 and also worked at US West until she retired.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family, work, and Colorado. She will be greatly missed.
Twyla is survived by her three children: Jacque Settle of Denver; Jennifer Bowen of El Cajon, CA; Jeff Harrington of Englewood. She is survived by her seven grandchildren: Kevin and Sean Smith, Mark Garramone, Tammy Reynolds, Nicholas, Alexander, and Ava Harrington. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren: Travis and Shelbi Smith, Peyton Smith, Nicholas Garramone, Mackenzie, and Hunter Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter and grandson Trent Bowen.
A private service will be held at the Fort Logan National Cemetery.
