Vanatisha L. Chavez-Esquibel

Vanatisha L. Chavez-Esquibel, affectionately known as Vanna, was born on May 9, 1991, in Denver, where she later found peace on September 18, 2025. Her journey in life was marked by her unwavering dedication as a single mother and a tireless worker who committed herself both day and night to provide for her beloved children: Jade, Lilliana, and Joseph.

Vanna was a beacon of kindness and authenticity, known for her outgoing personality, sharp wit, and fierce love for her family. She had an innate gift for making everyone around her laugh with her hilarious, sassy antics, and her outspoken nature made her a truly unforgettable presence. Vanna's strength and determination were evident to all, especially in the final year of her life, as she bravely fought a battle with cancer, surrounded by the warmth and support of her family.

Her pride and joy rested firmly upon her daughters and son, and she poured her heart into planning extravagant birthday celebrations and holidays, always going above and beyond to create special memories for her children. Vanna's spirit shone brightly not just in family moments but also in her creative passions, as she embraced her crafty side through drawing and painting, all while nurturing a love for nature and food that reflected her zest for life.

Vanna is survived by her daughters Jade and Lilliana, her son Joseph, and her loving father Ambrose. She leaves behind cherished memories with her sisters Albreny, Johanna, Cecily, and Aurelia, as well as her brothers Joseph and James (Cece). Vanna will be dearly missed by her grandparents Jose and Johanna, her multiple aunts and uncles, and her dear friend Dominque, who shared countless memories with her.

She was predeceased by her beloved mother Josephine and her significant other Joseph (Polo), both of whom she honored with the depth of her love.

As we remember Vanna, we honor her tenacity, her love for life, and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. She fought bravely, lived for her children, and at her core, Vanna was a true warrior whose spirit and love continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
