Velita Michelle Lumpkin, 57, of Denver, went to Heaven Thursday September 8th, 2016.
She was born to the late Louise Lumpkin, and Osbin Lumpkin Senior, August 6th, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee. The family later relocated to Redlands, California where she was raised. She graduated from Redlands High School, and later relocated to Orange County, California where she started a family. She relocated to Denver in 2011.
Velita is survived by five children: Anthony Edwards; Andrea Edwards; Rena Rutherford; Ronald Rutherford; and Jazzlyn Brooks. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held with family and friends.
