Vera K. Pasewalk

Vera Katherine Pasewalk, was born in Preston, Iowa, November 18, 1917, to John and Freda Ommen. Vera married Robert Pasewalk on December 25, 1939, in Hawarden, Iowa. They eventually moved to Hawthorne, California. She later moved to Akron, Iowa and then in 2007, moved to Aurora, Colorado. Vera was preceded in death by her husband Robert; sister Bernice Henrich; and brothers, Henry and Ervin Ommen.

She is survived by daughter, Fayth (Lowell) Taylor, of Torrance, California; and son Marc (Patricia) Pasewalk, of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren, Bryan, Anne, Scott, Marie, Caryn and Kevin; great grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Isabel, Hannah, Zoe, Aiden, Caleb, Ellianna, Katrina, Ava, Kayla and Kennedy; brothers, Melvin (Jelaine) and Donald Ommen.

A celebration of Vera's life will be at Newcomer Funeral Home-East Metro, 190 Potomac Street, Aurora, on Saturday, November 9th, at 10 a.m.
