Verla Arlene Allen was born in Victor, Colorado on May 11, 1935 to Harry and Amanda Pearl Lena (Tuberville) Huston. She attended high school at Manitou High in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
She was saved and baptized at a young age and faithfully served the Lord through her life in various churches throughout the Denver area. Arlene was an amazing prayer warrior even up to her last days.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianna Johnston of Denver and Stacy Jones and her husband Marvin of Deville, Louisiana; grandsons, Phillip Johnston and Marshall Jones and his wife Brittany; granddaughter McKenzie Jones; sister Verna Triplett and her husband Ed of Arizona and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends, including her very dear friend Clara Cook .
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Pearl Huston; brother, Harley Huston and sister, Fern Crane.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Arlene's caregivers for all their time and love they gave to Arlene.
