Verna C. Kelly was born on April 11, 1927 and died on June 2, 2012 at the age of 85.
She was married to Douglas Joseph Kelly (Rip) for 63 years. Douglas passed in August 2007. Verna had three children, Douglas F. Kelly (Jean), Kristyne K. Hernandez (Roger), and Kathleen Kelly. She has 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was born in Riverside, New Jersey and after she was married moved to Farmingdale, New York. After retiring, she moved to Port Isabel, TX and lived there for ten years.
At her time of passing, she resided with her daughter, Kristyne, in Commerce City, CO.
Verna was an avid reader, enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be missed greatly by her family. A memorial service will not be held.
