Vernona Black

Vernona Ruth (Huff) Black, 80, of Westminster, passed away May 3, 2015.

She was born February 7, 1935 in Oronoque, Kansas, the daughter of Carl and Christine (Smith) Huff. On August 29, 1949 she married Gary W. Black (Widowed after 42 years). She had 7 children Gary Wayne, Steve Allen, Terry Ann, Lane Ray, Mark Ragen, Paul Edward, and Dale Gordon. She was a waitress in her early years and then worked at Samsonite till she retired.

She is survived by Four Sons, Gary Wayne (Jane) Black, Steve Allen Black, Lane Ray (Ellen) Black, Mark Regan (Estella) Black; Daughter, Terry Ann (Michael) Sweeney; 18 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Ulla. She is preceded in death by Husband, Gary Winfield Black, Father, Carl L. Huff, Mother, Christine Huff, Son, Paul Edward Black, Son, Dale Gordon Black.
