Veta Rafelita Atler, 97 of Littleton, Colorado passed away on October 26, 2018. She was born on March 26, 1921 in Mora, New Mexico, the daughter of Joe and Juanita (Gallegos) Abeyta.
Veta is survived by three daughters Connie V. (Ed) Maes; Dorothy (Kenneth) Eslinger; Susan (Robert) Briones, three sons, Rory Atler; Fred Atler; and Jesse Atler; grandchildren; Eric, Aaron and Nick Maes; Kevin Briones, Jeffery Eslinger, Cheryl Dubus, and Caroline Eslinger; great-grandchildren Andria, Anthony, Dionna, Erika and Andrew Maes, Mathias, Tobia and Cassandra Eslinger, Justin and Morgan Eslinger and Rachael Eslinger; great-great-grandchildren Kaylor, Brooke and Cheryl Rose; also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Veta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fritz Atler; her parents; three brothers; four sisters and one great-grandchild.
Veta also resided in Dawson, New Mexico, and Frederick, Trinidad, Lakewood, and Littleton in Colorado.
