Victoria Josephine Schmier

Victoria Josephine Schmeir, 64, passed on April 16, 2025, at Denver hospice in Denver Colorado after a long bout with cancer. Victoria was born on April 20, 1960 in Denver, Colorado where she spent most of her life. She was the daughter of parents Francis Anthony Lazicki and Victoria Lazicki, who lived through World War II in Poland.

Vic or Jr., as she was lovingly called by her son-in-law Joseph Jimenez, loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, going to the mountains, animals and her cats, Chloe and Cristen. Victoria was a very patient and kind person - the kind of person that you meet once, and you remember. She worked in the payroll industry and was a caregiver before she retired and her presence will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Ann Jimenez (1 of 3 Victoria’s), stepson Charles Schmeir Jr. Son-n-law, Joseph Jimenez. Grandchildren: Hunter, Jonathan, Mallory, Leo, JoJo, Wesley, Brooke. Great grandchildren: Koda, Violet and Charlie.

Funeral Services will be held on May 3, 2025 @ 2:00 p.m. at Newcomers Funeral Home.
