Graveside service will be at 12:00 PM, Friday May 27th 2011 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Staging Area "A". Please be in place by 11:40 am. Please join us at the house for repast immediately following the services.

Pat joined the United States Air Force on 25 Feb 1974 and was honorably Retired 28 Feb 1994 after serving 20 years. He received his degree in Computer Networking & Systems Admin in 1996. He then went to work for US West now Qwest until July 2010. Pat and Jan were joined in marriage 24 May 1991 and had two children Vincent and Destinee. He loved being on his computer and he enjoyed researching his family genealogy. He was the family photographer and stayed behind the camera to keep from being in front of the camera (smile). He had a quiet spirit but he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and did whatever it took to please his wife. He was a faithful San Francisco 49ers fan, win or lose (mostly lose, smile). Pat especially loved his jazz music.

He leaves to honor and cherish his memory his loving wife, Jan Patrick; children Angela (Mark) Boykins, Darryl Johnson II, Vincent & Destinee Patrick all of CO, Chantel (Nathan) Pope of GA; 9 Grandchildren, his mother Carmelia "Miss Patty" Pope of CO; four brothers Oliver, Allen & Melvin Patrick all of CO, Hosea Patrick of FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by his father Oliver Patrick Jr. and two sisters Patricia Mebane and Sandra Scott.

It's hard for a thank you, which comes from the heart, to make its way up and then from the lips depart, but as each day arises and a new dawn breaks through, we'll look to the almighty with our prayer for you. Your never ending giving, the concern you displayed brought a luster of brightness to our darkest day. So accept this OUR THANK YOU, knowing it comes from each one, we are blessed to have friends who brought us the sun.
