He was born May 17, 1949 in Raton, New Mexico, the son of Vincent Arguello and Julia (Sanchez) Valdez.
Vincent is survived by his mother Julia Valdez and step-father John Valdez, , and sons Vincent R. Sanchez, Michael A. Sanchez, and Gabriel Sanchez. Also survived by his sister Lorraine (Valdez) Famighetti, brother Leroy Valdez, sister Marylou Valdez, brother Ronald Valdez, sister Christine (Valdez) Glaze, sister Gena (Valdez) Taylor, brother Johnny Valdez, sister Dianna (Valdez) Fiske, brother Michael Valdez, sister Darlene Valdez, and brother Edward Valdez
He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Arguello.
