Virgil Dean Young 85 of Aurora, Colorado. Passed away at his home on February 7, 2017.
He was born May 31, 1931 in Westfalia, Kansas to parents Ralph Harrison and Elsie Grace Young.
He is survived by his loving wife Sofia R Young; children Joe (Karen), Phyllis (Dave), Sharon(Paul), Michael and Brad (Shannon); 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Sue Still of Oklahoma; brother Darrell (Mary) Young of Kansas.
He fought in Korea and Vietnam and became a highly decorated Army soldier including a Silver Star. He spent his life serving as a career military serviceman. Which he was very proud of. He was a soldier in life as he is in death.
"Deano" will always be our Hero.
