Virginia Helen Klein , 78, of Arvada, Colorado passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015.
She was born to the late Charles and Catherine Klein on April 19, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. Virginia graduated from St. Francis De Sales High School in 1954. She married the late James Guzzo on June 13, 1959. She then moved with her children to Pueblo West, Colorado in April of 1975.
Virginia managed a construction company in Pueblo West before becoming a manager of Hartfield's, a woman's clothing store, in the Pueblo mall. She then moved to Lake Tahoe, Nevada to work in the time share industry. She came back to Colorado after a couple of years to be the Director of St. Josephs House in Denver, Colorado for the Archdiocese of Denver. After several years she moved to Fallbrook, California and was the Director of a very large retirement and care facility. She wanted to be closer to her children and grandchildren and moved back to Colorado in 1994. She then became a in-home caregiver and blessed many lives before retiring in 2008.
Virginia loved the mountains and Colorado. She enjoyed cross country skiing, country dancing, snow sculptures in Breckenridge, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and The Mother Cabrini Shrine. She also got great pleasure from many different types of music and cooking.
Virginia is survived by her children; Karen Guzzo of Denton, Texas, Robert Guzzo of Arvada, Colorado and Steven Guzzo of Parker, Colorado; 4 grandchildren; numerous aunts; uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Catherine Klein.
