Virginia M. Beckert

Virginia "Ginger" Beckert, nee Rediess, (1922-2011) was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado and was a life-long third generation resident of the State.

She was married to Walter J. Beckert, Jr. (who predeceased her) for 61 years. Much beloved Mother to Shari Kinsley, Sara Joy Murphy, Walter J. Beckert, III (who predeceased her), Marge Carter and Charlotte Beckert. She will be missed with great fondness by Nick Murphy, Russ Carter and Vicky Hardy, who are the partners of Joy, Marge and Walt respectively. Her eight grandchildren, Dana, Abby, Keith, Kevin, Pat, Chris, Eric and Joe; thirteen great-grandchildren, Colten, Jessee, Hunter, John, Tommy, Robby, Tina, Brittney, Ashley, Orion, Matt, Sean and Cassidy; and one great-great-granddaughter, Mia, will miss her also.

Virginia was an active member of VFW 9644 for 31 years, where she contributed her energy to serving the community, most recently by crocheting lap rugs and helmet liners and clipping coupons.
