Virginia E. Martinez

Virginia Eugenia (Gonzales) Martinez passed quietly at home surrounded by her family on Friday, April 7, 2017. She was born in Tucumcari, NM on April 9, 1936 to her parents Bernave and Tomasita Gonzales. She was a loving wife to Carlos Agapito Martinez. She was a beloved sister to Alice, Angelina (Angie), Magdalena (Mollie), Frances (Pancha), and Mary. Mentor to her children Veronica, Bernie, Trish, and Mona. Blessed to be grandmother to Nadine, Desiree, Chelsea, Charles, Timmy, Gabriel, Alyssa and Katarina. And we were so lucky for her to see her great-grandchildren Elias and Natalya. She will be missed. Her family will hold private services for both Carlos and Virginia on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Newcomers. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft Logan Cemetery.
