Virginia Ann Villegas

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Ann Villegas, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Virginia peacefully passed into eternal sleep surrounded by her family on December 14, 2024. 

Born April 8, 1937 in Laramie, Wyoming. As a parishioner of St. Laurence O’Toole, she was confirmed in the Catholic church. She met her husband Peter in Colorado Springs in 1958 and 3 months later they were married; together they raised 4 children in Enterprise, Oregon and later Aurora, Colorado. 

She was a devoted Catholic, deeply passionate about family and loved being with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, Cuban music, playing the piano, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling around the world with her husband. Always bringing joy to those around her, 

Virginia will be remembered for her kindness, her vivid smile, and her quick wit. Her family will particularly miss her sage advice and words of wisdom. Virginia was never afraid to speak her mind and always had an opinion to share. 

She is survived by her husband Peter J Villegas, her brother Robert Jaramillo, her 4 children Peter Villegas, Adriene Garcia, Kathy Ferguson, Patricia Villegas, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
