Wesley Lee Butterbaugh , 80, of Lakewood, passed away January 31, 2016.
He was born August 17, 1935 in Kalona, Iowa, the son of Ervin and Wilma (Thompson) Butterbaugh.
On June 1976, he married Jean (Thiele) Lancraft.
He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars.
He enjoyed raising Parakeets, Love Birds and Cockatiel birds. He was an avid reader who also enjoyed collecting coins. He also loved to watch the old western movies.
Wesley is survived by Three Children, Scott W. (Karen) Butterbaugh; Lea Ann Lindemann and Denise M. (Ben) Culbertson; Two Step-Daughters, June C. (William) Zastrow, Joan C. (James) Harriger; Fourteen Grandchildren, Joseph Butterbaugh, Allison Butterbaugh, Melissa (Kollin) Orris, Cletus (Allison) Kasper, Jennifer Kasper, Matthew Kasper, Hunter Lindemann, Myles Coppes, Rodney Culbertson, Anthony Culbertson, Kurt (Tiffany) Harriger, Kristine (Javier) Vigil, Cindy Campbell, Jennifer (Charles) Cullum; Ten Great-Grandchildren, Riley Kasper, Jackson Keller, Ciarra Healey, Kameron Keller, Logan Harriger, Victor Harriger, Devin Vigil, Silas Vigil, Cody Campbell and Chase Cullum; and Several nephews.
He is preceded in death by Wife, Jean A. Butterbaugh, Father, Ervin Daril Butterbaugh, Mother, Wilma Leona Butterbaugh, Step-Son, John R. Lancraft, Two Grandchildren, Haley Coppes and Amanda Butterbaugh, Sister, Harriet Blumenstein and his Faithful pet, Missy Butterbaugh.
