1938-2016

Wilbur E. Rosendale, age 78, was born at Porter Hospital in Denver, CO, on February 22, 1938. He grew up near Roxborough Park in Douglas County, CO. He retired from Mobile Premix Concrete as a Dispatcher.

Wilbur was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and neighbor to all. He loved the old cars, and enjoyed riding around in his 1927 Ford Model T. He kept busy as home and neighborhood handy-man. He was always taking time to visit as he rode his daily bike tours. He was a master mechanic for all home appliances and cars. He and Toby made a great team as home interior decorators; she designed and he applied. He took great pride in his lawn and yard, and even mowed and shoveled for everyone else! He was a giver, even to his final gift, that of Organ Donor.

He was the son of the late Peter and Katherine Rosendale. He is survived by his wife Toby of 31 years, children Richard (Dedra) Rosendale, Ronald Rosendale, Lori (Dennis) Cross, Vicki (Joe) Ferrarello, Michael (Karen)Porter, Doug (Chele) Porter and brother Kenneth (June) Rosendale.


Grandchildren: Amanda and Brad Schooland, Eric Rosendale, Cana Cross, Tiffany and Mike Mathews, Lindsey and Tommy McKoy, Aaron Rosso, Justin Ferrarello, Cassi and Chuck Bursich, Matt Porter, and Eylisch and Kylie Porter.

Great-grandchildren: Desmond Hubbard, Tye Miller, Jack and Mia Mathews, Madison, Jimmy, Joey, and Noah Bursich, and Vivienne and Thomas McKoy.

He was preceded in death by son Jerrold Rosendale and brother Robert Rosendale.
