Wilbur W. "Skip" Mays , 93, of Arvada, passed away May 1, 2016.
He was born May 3, 1922 in Prosser, Nebraska, the son of Arthur and Jeanette (Peabody) Mays.
He was a graduate of Doniphan High School in Nebraska.
Skip was very active in the Colorado State Grange and was a Past Master of Loch Lomand. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
He was an avid bowler. Wilbur loved to fish and camp. He also enjoyed Upland bird hunting.
Skip is survived by three daughters, Connie (L.D.) Henricks, Marcia Cedars and Rhonda Sanders; Brother, Merle (Carolyn) Mays; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mays.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Anchor Center for Blind Children or the USO.
