William (Bill) Arthur Ferguson, 56, of Littleton, Colorado, was born in Denver on July 27, 1958. Heaven called him home on June 8, 2015. A memorial service will be held on June 19, 2015, 11:00 AM at the Light of the World Roman Catholic Church in Littleton.
Bill is survived by his wife of 28 years, Melanie; son Kyle and daughter Kaitlyn; siblings Debbie and Sandie; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
Bill graduated from Littleton High School in 1977 and then went on to Arizona State University and University of Southern Colorado.
For the last 15 years, Bill worked at Sprint in the finance department.
Bill was an avid sports fan. Growing up, Bill loved playing football. In his adult life, he was forever the armchair quarterback. Bill was a San Francisco 49er fan, but his true alliance was with the Tennessee Volunteers college football team. His dream was to attend a game at their stadium.
Bill loved bowling! He bowled a minimum of three nights a week. Thru the years, Bill bowled (4) perfect 300 games, (1) 299 game, and (1) 298 game.
Bill also loved to fish. He would spend hours, and hours, and hours waiting to catch a fish. Sometimes, even days (his stubbornness was on display)!
Bill's favorite activity was being Dad to Kyle and Kaitlyn. He loved coaching Kyle's t-ball team and watching Kyle excel thru the years playing baseball and football. He also coached Kaitlyn's Special Olympics softball team. He cherished the Father – Daughter dances with Kaitlyn. He would many times take Kaitlyn on Father – Daughter dates. They loved going out for wings. They loved snuggling and watching movies together.
Bill looked forward to going to cheer on the Colorado Avalanche every Christmas season with Melanie, Kyle and Kaitlyn.
We will dearly miss Bill.
God bless him.
