William E. Kinney

May 27, 1938 — March 15, 2016

William E. Kinney, 77, went to meet his Heavenly Father March 15th, 2016 at St. Anthony Hospital, Lakewood, Colorado.

William was born May 27, 1938 in the small town of Fredericktown, Missouri to Bertha (Baldridge) Stumbaugh and William Kinney.

He served in the United States Army as a Communication Specialist between 1956 to 1959.

William married Sheralee Kenner on June 3, 1960 in Denver, Colorado.

He made a career as a Journeyman Electrician for 50 years, and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 68' in Denver, Colorado. He enjoyed studying the Bible and earned many certificates from different Bible Institutes. He was a Licensed Preacher, and enjoyed officiating many weddings for family and friends. William was affectionately known as "Billy" to his family members who loved him and enjoyed his constant humor and giving nature.

William leaves behind wife Sheralee, daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Marc Woolums, and daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Stefan Patterson, all of Lakewood, Co.; and four cherished grandchildren, Julianna, Jacob, Alexander and Zachary. Siblings Betty Cluck, Jeanie Barnes, Jimmy Stumbaugh (Paulette), Sherry Exum, Dave Kinney (Barb), and many special nephews and nieces.

Preceding him in death was his mother and father, step father Jim Stumbaugh, step mother Ollie (Stacy) Kinney, sisters Connie Leonard and Brenda Hoover.

Services will be in Lakewood, Colorado and Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Ted Martin, Dave Kinney, Jimmy Stumbaugh, Doug Day and William Kenner.
