Wilma R. Wagner

Wilma Ruth Wagner was born in Keenesburg, CO on April 25, 1929 to Henry and Olga Schmidt. She was the 11th child out of 13. She passed away on July 27, 2017 in Wheat Ridge, CO.

Wilma and her family spent time farming in Keenesburg, Loveland and Longmont. She was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith.

She graduated from Longmont High School in 1947. She then moved to Denver and began working.

On June 25, 1950, Wilma married Herman H. Wagner. They had 2 daughters, Diana Bechard and Shelly Sandoval.

Wilma loved to dance and listening to music. She also played the piano. She will be remembered for always having a smile on her face. Wilma enjoyed spending time with her entire family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Herman; her parents and all of her brothers and sisters.

Wilma is survived by two daughters, Diana (Marty) Bechard and Shelly (Eric) Sandoval; two grandchildren, Simone and Justin Bechard and three great-grandchildren, Kody Kleman and Brooke & Haylie Bechard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
