Xavier M. Singha

Xavier M. Singha passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024 at his daughter's home in Parker, Colorado at the age of 93.

He was born in Delhi, British India on December 26, 1930 to Joseph David Singha and Louise Schwartz. He was the last surviving and eldest of their eight children: Samuel Singha, Raj Singha, Noel Singha, Zisca Singha, Ebeneezer Singha, Jessica Singha Paul, and Esther Singha.

He was married to Shamim Davis in Lahore, Pakistan. He obtained a Master's degree in Political Science in Lahore, Pakistan, and a Master's degree in Theology from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver University in Denver, Colorado. He was the pastor of St. Luke's Methodist Church in Denver, Colorado. Xavier was received into the Catholic Church at his request by Fr. Patrick McBride of St. Isidore Catholic Church.

He is survived by his daughter Mala Fiona (Thomas) Aspinwall, Parker, Colorado, Joseph Singha, Englewood, Colorado and Dave Xaviers, Centennial, Colorado. Grandchildren: Brittany (Singha) Nieto, Denver, Colorado, Elizabeth (Singha) Warwick, Olathe, Kansas, Sean Aspinwall, Parker, Colorado, Kathleen Aspinwall, Parker, Colorado, and Kelly Anne Aspinwall, Parker, Colorado. Great grandchildren: Chloe Warwick and Kinsley Warwick. His beloved wife Shamim died on February 28, 1989 and is buried in South Side Cemetery in Carrick, Pennsylvania.

Viewing and rosary on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Isidore Church, 32100 East Colfax Avenue, Watkins, Colorado. Traditional Catholic Mass at 11:00 am, reception in the Parish Hall following burial in the St. Isidore Cemetery.
