Zachary James Pilchard

Although Zachy's life could have been defined by his many physical challenges, he was best known for his heart-melting smile, his tremendous strength and endurance, his fascination with Christmas lights and colorful-sound-making toys, and his genuine love for people. He was an active attender of Beth Eden Baptist Church - setting a record of thirteen straight years of participation in the Wednesday night Cubbies program. He was a proud Fletcher Miller Mustang (Class of 2026). He was supported medically by an incredible team of therapists, caregivers, nurses and doctors. His family is especially grateful for the extra-mile care and support from Dr. Scott Zimbelman from the Lakewood Kaiser office and the amazing team at Children's Hospital of Colorado, Zachy's home away from home.

His funeral service will be held at Beth Eden Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge, CO on Saturday, July 19th at 10:30 AM. Everyone is invited to a lunch reception in the Efaw Fieldhouse following the service. Zachy will be buried at Crown Hill Cemetery, across the street from Beth Eden, at 2:00 PM.
