In loving memory of Philip Jean Peters, 65, born in West Virginia

Resided in Lakewood, CO. at time of death.

Also resided in the beautiful state of Florida for the later part of his years on this earth.

Died on November 20, 2016

Son of Cecil Peters and Artemus Daniels.
Father of Ricky Peters and Christina Hofer.
Brother to Phyllis Lambert, Bonnie Wolf, and Priscilla Peters.
Grandfather to Brandon Peters , Alicia Peters, Kayla Hofer and Madison Hofer.
His favorite pet was his little Savanah.

Dad was a diesel mechanic in his younger years. He took his love for diesel trucks to the road and was proud to keep America running by delivering goods all across the country. He was very proud to serve our country this way. We need to thank those who risk their lives daily to keep this great country operating in those big rigs. They are a just as important to this country as those who have served in military status. He loved to travel, see and do things that most of us only dream of. After he retired he lived the life of a king for a while while traveling the country with his wife and dog for leisurely travel. He loved the feeling of freedom and reflected this by his love for eagles. To him they stood for freedom and he just loved to be free. I believe he is soaring with the Eagles and enjoying himself now, pain free.

In his later days he struggled with a lot of pain and hearing loss. This started restricting his freedom and ability to communicate and feel like be social. He was a strong man though, all the way up to the time he sadly passed. He was surrounded by love and comfort during his passing. He impacted a lot of people in so many ways. He will be missed and always remembered. May he now rest in peace.

Services will be held at a later date not yet determined by his immediate family members.
