Coy Gau, 98, passed away at Circle of Life in Springdale on June 29, 2017. She was born November 11, 1918 in Johnson County, Arkansas to Hiram and Jettie Thomason Robbins.

Coy was a senior receptionist for the editorial department at The Denver Post. She enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and visiting with her military family. She graduated from Dover High School in 1939.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Vaughn Robbins, Harold Robbins and Clinton “Babe” Robbins; three husbands, Ray Fowler, Clifford Gau and Jefferson K. Warren; nephew Phil Robbins and a great niece Leah Metheny.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Mardie Robbins and family, Imogene Robbins and family, and Christene Robbins and family all of Arkansas; cousin, Mary Kuperman of California; step-son, Mark Warren of Colorado Springs, Colorado; step-daughter, Anne Deines of Denver, Colorado.

Funeral service at Newcomer Funeral Home in Aurora on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 12pm followed by burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
