Dorothy M. Panter, 91, of Lakewood, passed away August 12, 2017.

She was born August 30, 1925 in Kim, Colorado, the daughter of Samuel and Effie (Smith) Wright. She was a graduate of Kim High School. On August 27, 1951 she married Hal A. Panter in Raton, New Mexico.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Billie (Jim) Cramer and Donna O'Moriarty; a son, Hal L. (Pat) Panter; grandchildren, Vickie Grote, Larry Asberry, Andy Panter, Chad Mueller and Blaze Panter; three great grandchildren, Kiara Asberry, Nevaeh Asberry, Akira Asberry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal A. Panter, father, Samuel Young Wright, mother, Effie May Wright and her beloved pet, "Chico".

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Collier Hospice.
