He was born February 8, 1932 in Brooklyn , New York, the son of Domenico and Giovannina (Gatta) Nigro. On October 13, 1956 Ralph married Mary Janet Martin in Omaha, Nebraska.
He attended the University of Colorado Denver where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in History. Ralph worked for United Airlines for over 35 years before retiring in 1995.
Ralph is survived by his children, Michael (Tracie) Nigro, Jerry (Rayna) Nigro, Ralph Nigro, Jr., Jennifer Maes, Joseph (Sharon) Nigro, Patrick (Elizabeth) Nigro, Elisa (Charles) Conners, and John Nigro; sisters, Tessie (Al) Fusco and Rose Zarcone; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Janet Nigro; father, Domenico Nigro; mother, Giovannina Nigro; brothers, Michael Nigro and Vincent Nigro; sister, Netha Lehane; and grandson, Domenic Maes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Colorado, or to the charity of your choice.
