He was born October 4, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas. He attended South East High School in Wichita and Barnes Business College in Denver.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Juanita Carmichael, brother Bruce Carmichael, brother in law Gary Pearson and his mother and father in law Dorothy and Robert McQuillan.
He was employed by the city of Denver Social Services Child Support Enforcement where he spent his career and retired after 23 years of service.
Scott is survived by his loving wife Patty Carmichael two sister in laws Lindi Carmichael and Pam McQuillan, three brother in laws Robert, Chuck and John McQuillan, three nieces; Ashley Owen, Cristina Rody, Mandi Barker and one nephew, Zak Carmichael.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 12 noon at Newcomer West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. Lakewood, CO 80226 with a reception following.
