John C. Davis passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015. John was born on October 27, 1938 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. John served 21 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a MSgt. During the course of his military career, John received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with Valor.

John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joanne M. Davis; son Thomas Davis, daughter Theresa Hudson (husband Jason), and son John A. Davis (wife Peggy); thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews and many special individuals who blessed his life and supported him in his last days.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 190 Potomac St., Aurora CO followed by burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in John's name to Shriners Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
